Do you offer warranties?
Yes. All repairs come with a one-year part warranty and a 30-day service warranty.

Do you sell parts?
No, we do not. We do the repairs. Our parts department stocks over 10,000 parts to ensure job completion and we can fix the appliance if you already have the parts.

What kinds of appliances do you repair?
We repair most major brand washers, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, ranges, ovens, gas and electric stoves, range hoods, and garbage disposals.

What if your company does not have the parts to repair my appliance?
During the initial phone contact we gather all the information in order to obtain the parts necessary for the repairs. If there is a need to order a part, another trip charge is not applied for a return visit.

How do I know I'm receiving quality service?

When do I need my appliances serviced or repaired?
The moment you notice an appliance is not behaving properly or it stops working, you should call your repair service. There is no need to wait because waiting can make the problem worse and more expensive to fix.

Do technicians carry parts?
Our technicians carry a large number of parts both in their vans for your visit. We attempt to bring the parts we believe are necessary and parts specified for repair during a booking-call. However, you might appreciate that there is a huge number of appliances and an even larger number of parts available. We cannot carry every possible part and may need to order parts once we have diagnosed the exact parts you require.

How will I know the technician is coming?
You will receive a confirmed booking window when you book with us or when we ring to confirm one of your preferred call times. You can request for the technician to phone you 30 mins in advance of the service call.

I work during the day, can I book an after hours call?
We do not offer an out of hours service all the time and in all places. In some areas we are able to organize a Saturday or after hours visit but we have limited spots available for this service.

Should I replace or repair my washing machine?
The decision to replace or repair a washer depends on the cost of the repair and the age of the machine. The average lifespan of washing machines is about 10 years. Before the lifespan ends, it's better to repair the washer. Our technicians are trained to repair any washing machine problem and extend the life of your washer, thereby saving you costs. However, if the washer is past its average lifespan, it may be better to replace it. Our experts can also help you determine if a repair is worth the investment.

How much will a washing repair cost me?
At Appliance Repair, we handle every repair uniquely. Therefore, the costs of washing machine repairs vary depending on a number of factors, such as the brand, the severity of the damage, and replacement parts. However, we offer customers very friendly rates and quality service.

What will a dishwasher repair cost me?
Although a dishwasher is a luxury household item, it doesn't mean that its repair will be expensive. The repair fee will include the price of spare parts and labor. We offer the best rates and give warranty on parts and labor. Once we diagnose the issue, we will give you a quote before commencing on the repair.

My dishwasher door won't unlock, can this be fixed?
The oven door usually locks itself during self-cleaning. If the door doesn't unlock, the oven temperature control could have malfunctioned. You need to unplug the oven and then plug it back after 5 min. This usually resets the control, and the oven door should unlock. However, if this does not happen, the door locking assembly may be malfunctioning and may need to be removed for inspection.

Should I get my fridge repaired or replaced?
At appliance repair, we always want what's best and economical for you. Our technicians troubleshoot your refrigerator to determine the best alternative. We don't always recommend fixing; we consider many factors before deciding which option makes more economic sense. Some of the elements you need to consider include age of the fridge and energy efficiency.
